Find markets and understand odds
When you enter crickets Bet, you will find sports categories in the left or top menu — cricket, football, tennis and more. Clicking on a sport brings up a list of ongoing and upcoming matches. Odds are shown next to each match and may appear in three formats — decimal, fractional or American.
The easiest is the decimal format. Say team A's odds of winning are 3.00 — that means a ৳500 bet returns ৳1,500 in total (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 original stake). The same value is 2/1 in fractional and +200 in American. If you lose, the ৳500 is gone.
If team B is the favourite, odds might be 1.25 (fractional 1/4, American -400). A ৳500 bet here returns only ৳625 (৳125 profit), because the favourite has a higher chance of winning so the profit is lower.
In a limited-overs cricket match, team A's odds are 1.45 and team B's are 2.75. A ৳1,000 bet on team B returns ৳2,750 if team B wins (৳1,750 profit). If team A wins, the full ৳1,000 is lost.
In handicap or over/under markets, the conditions for a specific outcome are set in advance; whether the bet wins or loses depends on the match result — but no specific stake or return can be stated beforehand.
Decimal Odds
Multiply directly — stake × odds = total return. The easiest format for beginners.
Fractional Odds
2/1 means ৳2 profit for every ৳1. A traditional British format.
American Odds
+200 means ৳200 profit on ৳100; -400 means you need ৳400 to win ৳100.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bet
Clicking a selection automatically adds it to the bet slip. Enter the stake there and the potential return is calculated instantly. This is a single bet.
Adding multiple selections to the bet slip creates a multi bet (accumulator). In a multi bet, the odds of all selections are multiplied to give combined odds, so the potential return is much higher — but if any one selection is wrong, the entire stake is lost.
Three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.80 respectively. Combined odds = 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.80 = 4.03 (approximately). A ৳100 bet returns ৳403 if all three selections are correct. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.
